sunday at Saint Peter’s

December 15, 2024 | ThirdSunday in Advent

8:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.

Masks are optional at St. Peter’s for those who are fully vaccinated. Please continue to exercise good judgment and sensitivity during your time here; do not ask those who continue to wear masks why this is the case; read body language and social cues carefully and respect any wish for distance. We appreciate your understanding and cooporation as we continue to move forward safely.

Stewardship & Ingathering Sunday

Celebratory welcome is what St. Peter’s is all about! Welcoming visitors and regulars alike into beautiful worship, warm hospitality and cheerful celebration. We strive to be a community of joy – prodigal, extravagant, and free – for everyone. As we all walk the path of regathering after CoVid, we hope you will find St. Peter’s a welcoming home.

We ask each member of our congregation to consider the blessings they enjoy and to consider how they can give openly out of their abundance to help support the mission and ministry of this parish with their time, talent, and treasure.

Lessons and Carols

  • Friday December 13 7:00 p.m...

Christmas Lessons and Carols led by our choirs and music ministry will take place here at St. Peter’s on Friday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to spend an evening immersed in scripture and carol singing in the beauty of our historic church. A festive reception will follow the service in the parish hall and we invite you to bring a snack, finger food dish, or dessert to share. Readers, ushers, and at least one acolyte are needed for the service. If you are interested in participating, please contact Daniel Weatherholt, Director of Music, at dweatherholt@stpeterspoolesville.org.
