Starting on Wednesday, November 18th, Rev. Emily will be leading a Formation class on Stephen Prothero’s book, God Is Not One: The Eight Rival Religions That Run the World and Why Their Differences Matter. Over the course of ten weeks, we will be jumping head first into: Islam (#1), Christianity (#2), Confucianism (#3), Hinduism (#4), Buddhism (#5), Yoruba Religion (#6), Judaism (#7), and Daoism (#8). We will spend the first week discussing the introduction and the reasoning behind the work and the last week, we will discuss Prothero’s appendix on Atheism. Bring your curiosity. All are welcome!
